A motorcyclist with potentially life threatening injuries was taken to hospital today.
A black Audi and a motorcycle crashed at West Hill in Epsom at 9am, causing the road to close for several hours.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after having attended the scene with an air ambulance and two ambulances.

Surrey Police Roads Officers posted on Twitter: "Car has cushioned the impact for the rider and driver."
The male motorcylist is believed to have suffered head, leg and pelvic injuries.
Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust said the 54-year-old man was taken to St Geoge's Hospital in Tooting.
Police had initally reported the man as being airlifted to hospital, but an South East Coast Ambulance spokesman confirmed the victim was taken by road.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or the manner of driving beforehand should call Surrey Police on 101, quoting the reference number P13231289.
