A mother killed in Clapham Park after a series of stabbings has been identified as 28-year-old Keisha McKenzie.
Ms McKenzie, who had an eight-year-old son, was stabbed to death at Tilson Gardens on Monday evening, on the same night her 17-year-old sister was stabbed in the head and hands at the same address.
That attack came half-an-hour after a 48-year-old woman, who has not been named, was also stabbed in Redlands Way, Brixton Hill, in front of her three-year-old son.
Desmond Brooks, 40, of Elstead House in Redlands Way, Brixton Hill, was yesterday charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder. It is believed Mr Brooks and Ms McKenzie were divorced.
He appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court yesterday to face the charges and has been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow (Friday, August 2).
