Firefighters cut apart a man’s car to free him after a lorry crashed into the back of it.
Epsom firefighters were called to Winkworth Road, in Banstead, at 4.30pm yesterday following a crash between a car and a lorry.
A man was trapped in it and had to be cut free, with firefighters having to remove its roof and doors.
A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said the incident involved two cars and a lorry.
He said the car which was being driven by a 50-year-old man was hit by the lorry and that the man was taken by ambulance to St Helier hospital for neck and shoulder pain.
