Police investigating a raid on a house, in which burglars tied up a family of four and threatened them with a gun, have arrested a second Croydon man.
A gang of about eight masked men forced their way into a family home in Newchapel in the early hours of June 12 last year, making off with a high-value haul including a Rolex watch and Louis Vuitton bag.
A man in his 30s, from Thornton Heath, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
He was bailed until September 12.
It comes after police searched three Croydon addresses last week.
On July 25, they arrested a New Addington man in his 30s on suspicion of aggravated burglary. He was bailed until September 10.
East Surrey police have appealed for information as they continue the investigating the burglary and the whereabouts of the stolen items.
