The final preparations for one of south London's biggest annual events are under way.

Carshalton Environmental Fair will be taking over Carshalton Park tomorrow as acts perform across three stages and more than 150 stalls show off all manner of food, drink, produce and other wares - all with an emphasis on local talent.

Almost everything at the event has been locally sourced - from the food and drink to the musical talent.

Musically, there promises to be something for everyone -  the Main Stage, will host local rock and pop bands including synth rockers Fakebit Polytechnic, the eclectic Oh! Gunquit and energetic ska stars The Noxious Starz, the Performing Arts Marquee will feature everything from steampunk morris dancers to a demonstration from a wildlife rescue centre, and the Music Café will host all manner of acoustic music like bluegrass, folk and other world music.

Tansy Honey of organisers EcoLocal aid: "It's a lovely way to round off the summer and get ready fir the Autumn term."
