Senior senior from the council and police will 'face the people' next month at a special Q&A session.
Ged Curran, chief executive of Merton Council, and Merton's police borough commander Darren Williams will take questions from residents on issues of concern and community safety.
Chief Superintendent Darren Williams, said: "Listening to the concerns of Merton residents has always been, and will always be a priority for me.
"I am very proud of the crime reductions we have seen in Merton over the last year because they have been delivered through great relationships with our residents and businesses.
"I want to develop these further by working in partnership with our visitors and communities, to make our borough an even safer place to live in, work in or visit."
Mr Curran, said: "Merton remains one of the safest boroughs in London. We want to keep it this way by addressing the public’s concerns. Face the People is the chance to take questions and feedback directly from residents."
The event, organised by the Merton Community and Police Engagement Group (CPEG) and Safer Merton, will take place on September 10 at the Civic Centre in Morden from 7pm.
