Police are searching for three missing Canadian Sea Scouts who left Kingston on Monday on a trip to Durham but went missing travelling through central London.

Mervyn Morash, 70, a leader with the Sea Scout party and two younger Sea Scouts Alexander Rhodenizer and Rachel Nauss, both aged 14, were last seen at Waterloo underground station at about 1pm yesterday.

They had been travelling from Kingston to Kings Cross on the way to Durham.

It is believed the three boarded the tube at Waterloo but the other members of the party did not manage to make it onto the train.

They have not been seen since and do not have phones.

Mr Morash is described as a white man, 5ft 9inches tall, with a stocky build and wearing black framed spectacles.

He was possibly wearing, or in possession of, a black baseball cap with the inscription "RCSCC LLEWELLYN 351" embroidered in gold thread.

Alexander is described as a white boy, 5ft 5inches tall, of medium build and wearing braces.

Rachel is described as a white girl, 5ft 5inches tall, of medium build and wearing rectangular, purple coloured spectacles.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call Kingston police on 101 or contact Missing People on 116000.
