Dog owners can get their pets microchipped for free in Wallington this weekend.
Police will be offering the service, which usually costs between £20 and £30, in conjunction with the Dogs Trust.
The microchipping will be carried out between midday and 3pm at Mellows Park in Stafford Road on Saturday. All dogs will have to be microchipped by 2016.
Owners who fail to comply will face fines of up to £600.
