A charity shop which raises money for local people with HIV is opening in Wandsworth town centre later this month.
Wandsworth Oasis is set to be opened by Tooting MP Sadiq Khan on September 19.
The new store will be the charity's sixth branch, with other shops in Tooting, Furzedown, two in Battersea and Mitcham.
Gill Perkins, of Wandsworth Oasis, said: "We’re all really excited - albeit exhausted - to be opening a shop close to all the new development in Wandsworth town centre.
"We’ve gone for the ‘industrial chic’ look because, at first we were trying to save money by, for example, not having a suspended ceiling - and then we thought, actually, that might look pretty cool.
"We are constantly amazed by the generosity of the local community without whom we wouldn’t be able to do what we do."
The official opening at the shop, located at 132 Garratt Lane, Wandsworth, SW18 4EE, will be between 5pm and 6.15pm.
