Officers have arrested Worcester Park man Jamie Halifax after he failed to attend a court appearance earlier this week.

Police called off a hunt for the 24-year-old after he was arrested on Wednesday evening at an address in Thames Avenue, Worcester Park.

He was wanted in connection with a burglary at a hairdresser in Central Road, Worcester Park, and for failing to appear in court to answer a charge of possessing an offensive weapon.

After his arrest, he was remanded in custody to appear in front of Croydon magistrates today.
