Shoppes can now take advantage of a whole range of deals following the launch of the Check Out Croydon loyalty scheme.

The card has been introduced by Croydon Business Improvement District (BID) with the aim to boost trade by rewarding loyal customers.

Shoppers can use the card to get discounts in a variety of stores in the town centre including up to 20 per cent off in some stores.

Forty-five businesses are already signed up to the scheme and more are expected to join over the coming months.

Croydon BID chief executive Matthew Sims said: “We are thrilled to be launching this initiative in Croydon at this time.

“There are some really fantastic offers available to reward customers for their loyalty, providing a great incentive for people to come into town, support the local economy and try something new.”

“So far, the reaction received from both businesses and the public has been great. Within just ten days of pre-registrations for the card being announced, nearly 500 people had already applied,” Mr Sims added.

“It’s a great indication of the importance that businesses and consumers place on rewarding loyalty and an encouraging sign of how well the scheme is likely to be received.”
