Man charged with attempted murder and rape on Chessington pensioner
A man has been charged with raping and attempting to murder a Chessington pensioner.
Robert Richards, 22, was charged today. He was due before Wimbledon magistrates today.
Police were called to an address in Chessington at 6.35am on Wednesday to find a woman in her 70s who was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
