A man from Battersea is competing in the so-called toughest challenge on earth this weekend.
Andrew Muzika is currently in America taking part in the World's Toughest Mudder event, a gruelling 24-hour obstacle course combining elements of the international Tough Mudder challenges.
Unlike other Tough Mudder events, World's Toughest Mudder, held in New Jersey, offers a cash prize to the winner as well as other awards.
Starting yesterday, competitors must complete as many laps of a 10 to 12 mile course as possible, over a 24-hour period.
Whoever completes the most at the end of the time period is declared World's Toughest Mudder.
Before he set of for the States, Andrew said: ''I can't wait to get to the States and get out on the course.
"I've completed a fair few Tough Mudder's here in the UK, which are tough enough, but this will be the ultimate test.
"I think I can safely say that this is going to be the toughest challenge I have faced to date.''
John Fidoe, Tough Mudder's European Marketing Director, said: ''The events here in the UK this year have been phenomenal which is mainly down to the participants.
"The physical and mental strength they showed throughout the year was amazing and we're sure that Andrew will do London and the country proud at World's Toughest Mudder.''
