A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead in Richmond.
Officers found the woman’s body at an address in Lower Mortlake Road, at 2pm on Saturday, November 30, after concerns were raised over the welfare of a resident.
The woman, who was believed to be 43-years-old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe they know her identity and are informing her next of kin but formal identification is yet to take place.
A post-mortem examination was due to take place at Kingston Mortuary today and police are treating the death as suspicious.
Two men, aged 48 and 21, and two women, both aged 27, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are in police custody.
The Metropolitan Police homicide and major crime command are leading the investigation.
