I am looking to contact the family of Sergeant Ronald C Wood (POW) who took part in a raid over Germany on 4th November 1944 in a Halifax bomber. He lived at 516 Kingston Road, Raynes Park, London when he returned from Germany in 1944 and wrote to the families of the crew who had lost their lives. Five of the seven crew, mostly on their 1st mission including my cousin who was just 2 weeks off his 21st birthday, were killed that night. In 2013, I made touch with 3 of the other families and would like to make contact with the Wood family as it will be the 70th anniversary of the tragic event in November. If you have any information on the Wood family, please write to me, Sally Corps, at 15 Conway Close, Loudwater, High Wycombe, HP10 9TR or contact me on amandine_nicholls@hotmail.com. I believe Ron Wood had 3 or 4 daughters. Thank you.
