Two box junctions which netted more than £250,000 in fines in eight weeks last year have netted another £100,000.
Two boxes landed Kingston Council a total of £254,037.50 in October and November after it started enforcing them with CCTV.
But drivers are still not learning their lessons by stopping on the box junctions drawing £135 fines, halved if paid within two weeks.
The yellow grid at the junction of Ewell Road and Elgar Avenue in Tolworth gained the council another £54,735 in fines in December.
Drivers in Wheatfield Way, Kingston, by the iconic phone boxes at the end of Old London Road, coughed up a total of £47,060 in the same period.
The box junctions are designed to prevent gridlock in the town centre, but some drivers say they are being caught out unfairly or blocked in by other drivers.
