A 16-year-old boy is in hospital with serious injuries after becoming the fifth youth to be stabbed in Croydon in eight days.
The teenager was found stabbed in the back in Parsons Mead, West Croydon, yesterday afternoon.
Police and paramedics were called to a house at about 5.05pm.

London Ambulance Service took the boy to a south London hospital, where he is currently in a serious but stable condition.
Police believe the victim was attacked in Hood Close and walked to nearby Parsons Mead.
No arrests have yet been made.
A Met Police spokesman said detectives did not believe any of the stabbings were linked but were "keeping an open mind".
