Two billboards advertising Ukip ahead of this month’s local elections have been defaced.
The billboards, one in Skerne Road and the other in Upper Brighton Road, Surbiton, urge voters to “take back control of our country” on May 22.
It shows the three main political party leaders – Prime Minister David Cameron, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, and Labour leader Ed Miliband – gagged by the European Union flag.
The Skerne Road billboard bears graffiti using an expletive to tell Ukip leader Nigel Farage to go “bk 2 Eton”, with the slogan “migrants welcome”.
Mr Farage in fact attended Dulwich College; of the other three leaders only Mr Cameron attended the prestigious school.
The Surbiton billboard was also ripped.
