Cadets raise the flag in support of the armed forces
A flag was raised in Epsom marketplace at midday to honour those who have served in the military, both past and present.
Across the country thousands of flags were raised in the run-up to Armed Forces Day on Saturday.
Epsom and Ewell's mayor, Councillor Robert Foote, said: "By raising this flag, we acknowledge the extraordinary actions that our fellow country men and women undertake on our behalf every day of the year."
