The skies above East Molesey were filled with blue and yellow balloons to celebrate St Alban’s feast day.
Children from across St Alban’s Catholic Primary School, Beauchamp Road, took part in the balloon race on Friday, June 20, to pay homage to their namesake.
The release followed on from a special whole school mass held on the playing field in the morning.
Pupils will now eagerly wait to find out whose balloon travelled the furthest distance.
