Thousands of people went back in time to the First World War when a military camp was set up on Saturday.
Re-enactors, from the 10th Essex Regiment Living History Group, visited Derby Square in Epsom for the event organised by Bourne Hall Museum.
The military camp included wartime vehicles, weapons and memorabilia as well as songs and talks about food in the trenches and other aspects of war.
Museum assistant David Brooks said: "People of all ages were there, from local schoolchildren to a lady who was born in 1914 and still has vivid memories of seeing her father go off to war in 1917."
He added: "On a sunny day in Epsom a 100 years away from events it was hard to image the mud and the horror of the Western Front but people left some idea what life was like for the men who left Epsom to serve King and Country."
