Letter to the Editor: I am searching for Sanderstead relatives
I am trying to find any relatives I may have on my nan’s side of the family.
My nan was called Emily Beatrix Francis Eades and she moved to Croydon from Plymouth as a young girl. She had a brother, William or Bill Eades, who remained in Croydon and had a family. My nan returned to Plymouth.
My nan was born on October 5, 1904 and she married a James William Cass from Lewisham.
My nan’s father was called William George Frederick Eades, mother unknown. Her father died young and there was a second marriage with lots of step-sisters.
