Corinthian Casuals boss Matt Howard has admitted his side could be in for their usual season long struggle against the drop.
Casuals, missing six first team regulars, crashed to a third defeat in their past four games with a 4-1 reverse at South Park on Saturday.
Howard’s side had made the sort of start to a season that had many fans dreaming of the Ryman Division One South play-offs, but things have turned sour.
“We got off to an absolutely flying start this season and maybe everyone got a little bit carried away with it,” said the manager.
“Over the course of 30-odd games, which is how long I’ve been here for, maybe we are just not good enough.
“Maybe it is going to be a long hard winter and we are going to be struggling.”
