In reference to Harriet Harman’s visit to Croydon, (Time for woman MP to be elected here, February 25).
If I vote at all at this coming election I will be choosing the person with the best policies who will best represent Croydon. I do not care what they look like, what religion they follow and certainly whether they are a man or a woman.
I hate how this need to discuss gender is brought into every aspect of life. Can we not just treat people as people rather than put them in different categories?
