A block of flats in Teddington remains sealed off by police after a man was arrested last night.

The man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and assault, with forensics continuing their investigation today.

The car park at Keeling House, in Stanley Road, remained taped off by police, with one officer stationed outside.

The car park fence appeared to be damaged.

Paul Mason, who lives near the flat, said: “There was a bit of shouting last night.

“I was woken up at about 1.30am and there was a bit of shouting. I initially suspected it was just some drunks.

“I heard shouts in the early morning, but it sounded a long way away and did not sound aggressive.”

Sergeant Mick Coughlan, from Richmond police, said: "It is a crime scene and enquiries are ongoing."
