A Christmas tree, a dead fox and half a tonne of litter were unearthed at an annual Clean Up Day.
Ewell Village's littering hotspots were cleared up by 75 students from Glyn School.
Brian Angus, Ewell Village Residents' Association chairman, said: ‘This tremendous effort has completely cleared rubbish from a dozen places that had become unsightly and in some cases overwhelmed with litter, including some private land, and the improvement in visual amenity has been most striking."
