The Essence of Ireland is set to take Epsom by storm with a powerful new touring production.

The show is a journey through history, based against the backdrop of the USA, Spain and England in the 19th Century.

With two lovers forced to leave one another and their beloved homeland due to emigration, the audience are told of their love for each other and their deep connection with Ireland and its culture.

The show's ensemble are likewise very proud of their Irish heritage.

Creative director and co-writer of the show, Ged Graham, says: "We set out not just to tell a powerful love story; but to tell a bigger tale based on true events about the love between a man and his country - something which audiences really relate to."

The cast will be performing on the night with the pupils of the local Griffin Lynch Dance School.
