The 25-year-old reckons he is fully refreshed after his antics at the African Cup of Nations, and he is determined to make sure Palace finish the season on a high.
Goals from Wilfried Zaha, James McArthur and Joel Ward fired Palace to a 3-1 win over QPR, lifting the Eagles to 12th in the table, eight points above the relegation places.
On the flip-side, the defeat left QPR firmly ensconced in the dropzone, much to the dismay of Bolasie’s new fiancée.
He said: “My missus’ family supports them so they’re going to get a bit of stick.
“But I’m buzzing to be honest, I’ve got to try to see out the season now - we’ve got nine cup finals so I’m looking forward to that.”
Arguably in the form of his career, the DR Congo player says Alan Pardew has helped him develop his free-style of play.
That's 2-0: James McArthur prepares to celebrate his goal with the Palace faithful
He said: “I’ve simplified my game which has helped me a lot. Under this manager I can only get better, but it’s always been like that at Palace [to play with freedom].
“I’m getting the ball higher up the field and the boys are moving it much quicker than before.
“It’s working well for me and Wilf [Zaha]. It’s helping a lot getting the ball out wide quicker and letting us get on with it.”
The understanding with Zaha on the opposite flank was born in the 2012/2013 promotion-winning season, and the two friends are even having a friendly fining system to help motivate each other during the season.
“We have got a little thing going on - if my cross gets past Glenn [Murray], Wilf's got to be the next man, otherwise there's a fine.
“That’s only going to help us score goals. Because when he puts in the ball it is vice-versa - I’ve got to be there.
"The gaffer has had us working on that recently and once it comes naturally as part of the game I think you’ll see us score a few more goals.”
He added: “But this job’s not done. We’ve got to be looking up, there’s no point looking down.
“We’ve still got some good games coming up and hopefully we can get a couple of wins at home because home form is the main thing.
“It’s a tough task [to beat last season’s 45 points], but I think we can do it.”
