Thousands flocked to an annual celebration welcoming the arrival of Spring on Saturday.
The Herald of Spring festival, at Bourne Hall, in Spring Street, Ewell, attracted 4,000 people.
Birds of prey, including hawks and owls, were on display in the grounds, Ewell St Mary’s Morris Men performed traditional dances and children were enchanted by song and puppetry.
There were also floral displays, a treasure hunt for fairies hidden in the garden, art workshops and a spring market.
Jeremy Harte, Bourne Hall museum curator, said: "It was a wonderful day.
"So many people came together to celebrate the best of Ewell Village and to appreciate the green spaces and wild places of the borough."
