Corinthian Casuals are after a record Ryman Division One South points haul this term.
Veteran former Kingstonian striker Carl Wilson-Denis struck to give the Casuals a 1-1 draw at Tooting & Mitcham United on Saturday as they bounced back from a 6-1 mauling at Hythe Town last Tuesday.
Casuals, under boss Matt Howard, have enjoyed one of their most successful league campaigns in memory having topped the table in mid-Septempber.
Howard's men have been unable to scale those dizzy heights since, but they do stand only four points adrift of the magic 50 point mark with 11 games still to play.
And keeper Danny Bracken, who starred against his former club at the weekend, believes they have plenty still to play for over the remaining weeks of the season.
“My personal target for the rest of the season is to keep more clean sheets and as a team, to get more wins," he said.
"We want to try and get a club record for points in this league. We’ve been pushing up gradually every year.
"We’ve got a great set of lads here and if we can stay together, push on to the end of the season, let’s see where we end up.
“Realistically, a top 10 position for a club like ours is a great achievement and it’s definitely there for the taking.”
Casuals host Carshalton Athletic tonight and then Herne Bay on Saturday.
