Freecycle lightens our load on the environment by linking people who have stuff they no longer want or need with others who can make use of it.
The Freecycle Network is a non-profit Internet group started in 2003.
There are now over three million members world-wide, with more than 500,000 across the UK.
When you want to find a new home for something that's too good to just throw away - a PC, bike, chair, whatever - send an e-mail offering it to your Freecycle group (membership is free). If you're looking to get something yourself, reply to another member's offer and they might just choose you as their item's new owner. Then arrange a time and place for collection - it's that simple!
One main rule: Everything posted must be free, legal, and appropriate for all ages.
