Letter to the Editor: Trying to find wartime evacuee friend
I am looking for a person that was an evacuee with my grandmother in Bryncethin, near Bridgend, South Wales, between 1939-45 with the name of Maureen Buttery, who lived at 73 Morden Way, Sutton, Surrey.
Her father, I believe, had an engineering business.
She married someone I knew as Graham and had two daughters named Cheryl and Wendy.
I would love to know any information on them. She may remember me as Doreen, if so I would love to hear from any one of the family.
