Few TV programmes have had quite the impact and acclaim worldwide as Downton Abbey and that’s why the cast and crew will be in Richmond tonight to celebrate it.
BAFTA is hosting a one-off tribute to the ITV show at Richmond Theatre, with stars arriving on the red carpet from around 6pm.
Hosted by Jonathan Ross, it is being filmed for broadcast later in the year.
Since airing for the first time in September 2010, the series created by Julian Fellowes has won hatfuls of awards including 10 Primetime Emmys, three Golden Globes and a BAFTA.
Its sixth and final series is due for broadcast later in the year.
Tickets for the event are still on sale at atgtickets.com/Richmond for £121.25
