The sounds of the seventies will roar back into life in Wimbledon in May.
The world’s longest running ABBA concert show – Thank You For the Music – is heading to New Wimbledon Theatre to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band’s biggest hit, Dancing Queen.
The show will also feature The Magic of the BeeGees, a trio who perform hits such as Staying Alive, Massachusetts, Night Fever and How Deep is You Love alongside a live band.
Thank You for the Music has been on the road for 23 years, which is longer than Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha and Frida managed in the 70s and 80s.
They perform all of the hits, including Super Trouper, Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Knowing Me Knowing You and Gimme Gimme Gimme.
Producer Michael Taylor said: “Combining Lycra-tight harmonies with superb musicianship, Thank You for the Music has outlasted ABBA in their prime.
“Dancing Queen represents the pinnacle of the group’s career, and we have produced a brand-new show rocking the sound of “the right music” for 2016.”
