Well here we are again checking in with each other to see how the land lies.
I certainly hope you’ve had a week that has been eventful yet manageable, especially as you never know what life is going to throw at you from one day to the next.
I do believe that nothing is impossible and we can handle anything so I’m sending out positive vibes.
Well I’ve definitely been a ‘mum about town’ over the last seven days, rushing about getting things done, as well as a bit of work to keep the wolf from the door!
What with school place confirmations, swimming lessons, VAT calculations and visiting friends, I haven’t stopped.
Then to top it all off I’ve decided to take on another physical challenge. Yes I know it only seems like yesterday I was being hurled about on a boat around the British Isles, but I’m one of these people who love a challenge, even when fear kicks in.
Call me competitive or a glutton for punishment, but when this next idea was presented to me I just couldn’t say no.
Now I’d like to tell you more about what it is I’m doing, but at this stage it’s all a bit hush-hush.
However, what I can tell you is I’ve started intensive training and my body has gone into shock.
The positives are that as a result, I’ve been able to eat non-stop to counter balance the ridiculous amount of calories I’ve been burning and the other benefit is that hopefully my post-partum tummy will have disappeared once and for all by the end of it. I can only dream.
Anyway I promise to reveal more as soon as I can, but in the meantime let’s all motivate ourselves; especially as the sunny weather has reared its head…even if it doesn’t last!
We need to focus on becoming fighting fit and feel more confident to get those bikinis and mankinis out. Michael can’t wait! Ha!
