The south London venue that hosted Adele’s first ever gig - as well as shows from Massive Attack, The Specials, the Happy Mondays and Skepta – have been given a new look.
Based in an 18th century inn, Brixton Jamm has been given a no-expense-spared renovation and a groundbreaking new sound system.
The venue is made up of a club and live party room, a drinking bar room and an outdoor terrace and has been done-up by the creative team behind Night Tales.

The club room has been extended to add 100 more people to its capacity and now has the country’s first installed Martin Audio MLA Compact sound system, which is the same used on Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage.
In the bar room, original period features including cornicing and wood floors have been exposed and the backstage area has been given a spruce too.
Artists set to play Brixton Jamm this summer include garage legends Artful Dodger and DJ Luck and MC Neat, US disco funk artist Mayer Hawthorne, DJ A Skillz, Basement Jaxx’s Felix B, Faithless’ Maxi Jazz and the Hackney Colliery Band.
