Broadcaster Griff Rhys Jones will share memories of his long career with his late comedy partner Mel Smith at Riverhouse Arts Centre in Walton this summer.
Griff shot to fame alongside Mel in hit comedies Not the Nine O’Clock News and the long-running Alas Smith and Jones which was broadcast from 1984 to 1998. Latterly, he has become known for his successful travel shows.
Next year, he returns to the West End in a revival of Moliere’s The Miser.
His work-in-progress show at Riverhouse - on Tuesday, August 30 – will be his thoughts, stories, anecdotes, reminiscences and half-remembered events as he rambles through his relationship complete with previously unseen footage.
