A dating site is giving a new meaning to the term ‘single ticket’ as it gives commuters in Battersea the chance to fall in love on the way to work.
Match’s Datemaster bus will let single people hop aboard from Clapham Junction at 8am on August 10 and socialise, flirt and speed-date on their way to Liverpool Street.
Rather than cramming on to a crowded bus, passengers will get their own table and breakfast and five minutes to talk to their partner before moving seats to chat to a new partner.
As if the commute couldn’t sound any better, it’s free too.
The Transport of Lovin’ Datemaster bus will also go from Limehouse to Waterloo on August 11 and Brixton to Liverpool Street on August 12.
Match’s dating expert Kate Taylor said: “Londoners are the first to blame their lack of love life on their hectic schedule. So city-singles have to look for ways to fit dating into their already busy schedule.
“The Datemaster bus is the perfect solution! You can speed-date over a healthy breakfast, and flirt before you've even hit the office.
“I wish normal commutes could be so romantic, but Londoners are usually keen to avoid eye contact on public transport.
“The Datemaster bus finally allows singles to interact in a fun, romantic and time-efficient way. All aboard.”
