Get thee to the pub for some midsummer madness as Shakespeare comes to beer gardens in south west London.
The Bard’s gender-swap comedy Twelfth Night will be performed in the pub gardens of The Anglers in Teddington on September 14 and the Red Lion from September 15 to 17 as part of the Shakespeare in the Garden tour of 14 Fuller’s pubs.
Fuller’s Inns’ managing director Jonathan Swaine said: “This is the 5th year of our successful Shakespeare in the Garden series.
“It brings something very different to pubs and it is fantastic to see so many people, many of whom may not have enjoyed Shakespeare before, coming to our pubs for this great experience.
“Twelfth Night is one of my personal favourites, so you can guarantee that I for one will be watching at least one of these performances.”
Tickets cost from £13.50 with £1 going to charity Shooting Star Chase. Go to fullers.co.uk/pubs/Shakespeare-in-the-garden
