Bollywood superstar Sonakshi Sinha’s latest action thriller movie Akira sees the titular character learning martial arts to defend herself.
And it comes in handy when her life spirals out of control when she unwittingly becomes involved in a crime involving a dead businessman, four corrupt police officers and a former dance bar hostess.
To celebrate the film’s release, Ultimate Martial Arts Academy in Brighton Road, Croydon, is offering a 20 per cent of tuition fees to anyone who brings along an Akira cinema ticket stub. E-mail info@thecroydonacademy.com or call 020 86865420.
Similarly, Mixed Martial Arts Den in Battersea is offering taster sessions reduced from £5 to £3 with an Akira ticket stub. Simply book online for a trial class at mmaden.com and enter Akira as a reference.
Akira is out September 2.
