Tooting Market has been awarded Best Small Indoor Market at the Great British Market Awards.
The results of the awards, by the National Association of British Market Authorities (NABMA), were announced on Thursday January 26 and give the local market national recognition.
Last year, Tooting Market won Business of the Year at the Wandsworth Business Awards and Best Retail in Tooting at the Time Out Love London Awards.
Market manager Roi Mengelgrein said: "Winning these awards provides us with the recognition that all of our hard work is paying off.
"Taking a run down market which was dodgy to say the least and turning it around to become a lively, buzzy and family friendly place is a huge achievement for us as a market and for the community at large.
"Locals and visitors are now able to shop, eat and enjoy all the benefits of having a cool and quirky family friendly market at their doorstep.
"Having won these awards also helps boost the profile of Tooting on a national scale as winning Best Small Indoor Market in the UK is a very big achievement considering there are over 1,200 regular markets operating today.
"We are thrilled and we hope this proves to our local politicians and those behind the Crossrail 2 project, that any threat or potential compulsory purchase of Tooting Market would be a huge travesty for the community."
