A special bowling match was held on Wednesday, August 23, between the Chelsea Pensioners and the Surrey Masonic Bowls Association.
Sutton Bowls Club on Dorset Road hosted the match.
Phil Gunner, President of Surrey Masonic Bowls Association, said: “It is a great honour for us to be able to play against ex-service men and especially during my year as President having served in the army myself.”
The Surrey bowling club raises money for charity and their generated funds this year are being donated to the Queens Nursing Institute.
