Peter Taylor has performed a sentimental U-turn after deciding to allow striker Clinton Morrison reveal a T-shirt with the phrase 100 not out'.
After the weekend draw against Leicester City, when Morrison took his Eagles goal tally to 99, the striker revealed Taylor banned him from doing the exuberant celebration to prevent him being booked.
But the Palace boss has decided to let the fans' favourite reveal the t-shirt - but only if he has not already been booked.
Taylor said: "I have actually given him permission to wear the t-shirt and he is delighted.
"But he has got to be very sensible. First I said no - but then I thought to myself hang on a minute, it is an incredible achievement to score 100 goals for your club' and I think he should be able to show how much it means to him.
"But if he has already been booked then he can't do it - it is as simple as that."
