Clinton Morrison has been urged by boss Peter Taylor not to dwell on the fact he is stuck on 99 goals for Crystal Palace.
The Irish international's last Eagles goal was his dramatic late equaliser against Leicester City last month.
But he has failed secure his 100th so far, with Palace losing 1-0 to both Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic.
Now, Taylor is urging Morrison not to think about that elusive goal too much.
"To score 100 goals is an incredible achievement," he said. "It should not be something your worried about because it means you are a brilliant player.
"I understand if a cricketer is on 99 that it is nice to get the 100, but it shouldn't be affecting his form."
