Two Southern Rail workers have been suspended after video footage emerged online of a homeless man having dirty water poured around him at Sutton station.
A staff member was recorded appearing to tip a bucket full of water around him as he laid on the floor on Sunday (February 24) afternoon.
It’s unclear what was being said between the man and the workers involved but the person recording, who wishes to remain anonymous, is told to stop.
British Transport Police have confirmed they are investigating the video while Southern have taken action since launching an investigation.

Angie Doll, passenger services director for Southern, said: "We take this incident extremely seriously and have started an investigation. The two staff members seen in the video have been suspended.
“We would like to apologise to the homeless man and we are trying to make contact with him to offer help and support."
However, it has also since been alleged that the man who had water poured around him was being verbally abusive and aggressive to people around the station.
A BTP spokeswoman told Sutton Guardian that they were unaware of what happened before the video but that any investigation into it would likely be separate to the video.

She confirmed officers received a report of an "aggressive male" outside the station at 12.42pm yesterday but said he left quickly and there was no need for police attendance.
It remains unclear whether they were the same person at this stage and the separate incidents are not being linked at the moment.
The spokeswoman for the force added: "British Transport Police are aware of a video posted on social media last night (February 24) showing an incident at Sutton station.
"Officers are currently investigating the incident as a common assault and would ask anyone who witnessed what happened, or the events leading up to it, to contact them."
UPDATE: Southern has suspended three workers following the incident. A third member of staff was identified through CCTV footage.
Anyone with information is urged to contact BTP by texting 61016, or calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting the reference 489 of 24/02/19.
