Police in Croydon town centre got more than they bargained for when they noticed something suspicious happening outside a court house.

Taking to Twitter this morning to share the new, police said: "Officers arrested two males suspected of trying to steal a motorbike yesterday (Wednesday) out Croydon Magistrates Court."

But it was how the men arrived to court which was what peaked police's interest even more.

"The two suspects were also found with knives on them and an angle grinder," the tweet continued.

"And had arrived on another stolen motor bike!"
