Emergency services rushed to attend reports of a stabbing in New Addington, Croydon, Friday afternoon (November 8).
The Met Police told the Croydon Guardian that a man had "suffered a slash wound to the head" during the incident.
The victim was rushed to hospital "as a priority" after first responders were alerted just after 4pm on Friday.

Responding to a request from the Guardian, a spokesperson for London Ambulance Service (LAS) said:
"We were called today at 16:02 to reports of a stabbing on Central Parade, Croydon.
"We sent an ambulance crew, a first responder and a paramedic in a car to the scene.
"We treated a male at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority."
The Metropolitan Police meanwhile confirmed the victim had been taken to hospital and offered an update on his condition:
"Police were called at approximately 16:05hrs on Friday, 8 November to reports of man assaulted in Central Parade, New Addington.
"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, believed aged in his 20s, suffering a slash wound to the head.
"He has been taken to a south London hospital for treatment; his condition is not life threatening.
"Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.
"No arrests."
