A new support service is now available every week in the Roundshaw estate for crime victims to get one-to-one, confidential advice and help.
The victims' surgery will be held every Friday with appointments available to anyone who has been a victim of crime in the area - whether or not they wish to involve the police.
Margaret Jones from Victim Support said a pilot project had shown considerable demand for the service.
The new surgery was officially launched last Friday at the Pheonix Centre with Mayor of Sutton, Councillor Myfanwy Wallace, and local MPs Tom Brake and Paul Burstow.
Mr Burstow, MP for Sutton and Cheam, said he was keen to see a similar victim support service in other areas of the borough.
For further information or to arrange an appointment call Victim Support 020 8685 1637.
