McDonald's has unveiled the location of the first 39 drive through restaurants reopening today, with the Sutton and North Cheam branch named as two of the lucky sites.
The fast-food chain shut down all of its sites in March at the start of the coronavirus lockdown, but following the easing of restrictions, McDonald's has announced the drive-through branches selected as pilots.
Last Tuesday, McDonald's announced it would reopen several unnamed restaurants after spending a week testing its operations behind closed doors.
The stores will be open from today, May 20, to make orders through drive-throughs between 11 am and 10 pm, with staff, asked to be extra careful about social distancing measures.

Mcdonald's is urging customers to use contactless payments and to cap their spending at £25.
In a statement posted online, Mcdonald's said: "Today we are reopening 39 drive-through Lanes at restaurants across South East of England and in Dublin as we continue to test our plans for reopening.
"These drive through pilot restaurants were all chosen as they are close to one of our distribution centres as we continue to prepare our supply chain for reopening.
"Our teams are still adjusting to the new procedures we have introduced to enable safe working and social distancing, so things might take a little longer.
"We expect a high demand across all locations.
"We are working closely with local authorities and we may determine that is necessary to close our drive-through lanes if queues cause disruption or put our employees or customers at risk.
"We are aiming to reopen all drive-throughs by early June and hope to see you soon."
