Crystal Palace chief Neil Warnock has branded Wales boss John Toshack as "out of order" after Carl Fletcher aggravated a calf strain on international duty.
Palace captain Fletcher played the full 90 minutes in Wales' 0-0 draw against World Cup finalists Germany on Wednesday night.
And Toshack's decision to field Fletcher for the whole game has infuriated Warnock, who says the central midfielder was already carrying a calf injury.
Fletcher could now miss tomorrow's trip to Colchester United and Warnock is far from happy with the Wales boss.
"I am very disappointed in John Toshack because he went with an injury but still played the whole game, said Warnock.
"To play him for 90 minutes when there is nothing at stake I think is out of order."
Meanwhile, Danny Butterfield returns from a hamstring injury, while Tom Soares and Paul Ifill have recovered enough from flu to be in contention to face the U's.
Clinton Morrison has recovered from a knee injury and is expected to start, though Paul Dickov is set to miss out with a toe injury.
New signing Shaun Derry could make his first appearance for Palace since November 10, 2004, when he started in the 2-0 League Cup defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
